Oh, girl....let me tell you. YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 37 years old and learned this lesson this last year. Absolutely.....It is something you almost have to recognize for yourself....but basically this is what it kind of boils down to: Mature Love - when you make sacrifes, take on burdens, accept and forgive faults you do so with your EYES WIDE OPEN. That part is important...EYES WIDE OPEN. It is a choice. You know the deal and you are making a grown up aware choice. INMATURE love is fueled by a kind of blind devotion, where you make these sacrifices or put up with things because you "looooooove him/her" and you put your own needs aside almost carelessly. It feels good the inmature kind...because it is sort of innocent in a way....sometimes you do things because you don't know better. Mature love you know better - and you choose to do so.....your not riding a wave a endorphins and illusions. Hope this helps.....By the way the transition hurts the first time you encounter it. Mature love may feel like you are loving less intentently, but in actuality your loving differently, but more importantly deeper.

I'm not sure what the question actually is,but I am going to assume you are asking if there is a such things as mature and immature love..
There are different types of love, such as brotherly, erotic, and unconditional love.
However, there are no degreees of love. You can't partially love someone. The definition of mature is complete...so based on that, what determines a 'mature love' is not love in itself, but the maturity level of the person who is practicing it.

There isn't any thing like mature and immature love. However, it seems like this is what you want to hear.
There's just one kind of love in this world and that is L O V E.
In my dictionary I also have 'true love' - It's NOT finding someone you can live with, it is finding the ONE you can't live without.

Goodness, yes. But I associate immature love as naive or inexperienced. For instance, my last relationship lasted almost four years, but it shouldn't have lasted longer than six months because we were both too immature to have a healthy, respectful relationship. My current relationship is more realistic, down to earth, and healthy. And that's because we're both mature enough to handle it. We realize that things won't always been ideal, and that relationships take work, compromise, and respect on all levels.

Your question is not clear. Do you mean mature and immature people being in love, or the love in a relationship itself being immature (as in not fully grown/developed)?

In my opinion 'young' love is very intense but short-lived, mature love is more about companionship long-term.
