It's hard to say- how long did you date? Did he ever contact her, and/or try to date her, or any other girls while you were still dating? He may have just wanted to call her to plan a suprise for you- it's hard to say. You could have asked him at the time what he wanted her number for- he may have had a legitimate reason for wanting it, tho he could have volunteered that info at the time.

well is sounds like he was trying to use you. That's good you didn't give him the number. Good thing he is an ex. you can find a better guy who will treat you good and not try to hook up with your friends.

I would think he may have been especially if he did not tell you why he would want your best friends number sounds fishy to me. be happy he is your x he is a loser and u did the right thing
