You are already at a good weight. You don't want to be anorexic! If you want to tone up, start doing some weight training.

Walk for thirty minutes a day. It can even be broken up in 2 sets of 15 minutes or 3 sets of 10 minutes if you don't have the time. Start off slowly to help build up your stamina. Eventually you will want to step it up a pace to the point where it would be difficult to have a conversation while walking. Get that blood flowing and the heart pumping. Push ups, squats, and crunches will help build muscle that will help you burn more calories. Change your diet. The food you are eating may be keeping you from losing weight, especially foods and beverages with high fructose corn syrup in them. This is important because if you still eat the same way after you lose your goal weight, you will just put it back on. Cleanse your organs that help you eliminate the waste products in your body(liver, bladder, kidney, and colon cleanse). Drink 64 oz of water throughout the day. This will help your body eliminate toxins and waste more efficiently and it will also make you feel full. Remember, what goes in your body should also come out. I started my diet a little over 4 months ago and have lost 38 pounds and have kept it off. I have so much more energy and I feel great. You can try this site. It has a lot of information about toxins that enter the body by the foods we eat. It also has some links to sites where you can purchase all natural organ cleansers, vitamins and diet supplements to help you stay healthy and fit. Good luck!

In my experience, the most effective way in your case to lose weight is by going low-carb. Eat less carbohydrates and drink lots of water.

And exercise if you can.

Losing 1 pound a week won't be a problem, but the weight loss might not be permanent.

Try the Paul McKenna way, I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Four rules.
1 when you are hungry eat
2 eat what you want
3 eat slowly and enjoy each mouthful
4 when you are full, stop.

I couldnt believe how easy it was. Just make sure you are hungry before you eat, put knive/fork/food down between mouthfuls. Savour each mouthful and as you are eating more slowly, it will give your brain a chance to let you know you are full. It worked for me. Good luck

Vivian's lager and vindaloo diet.

Go out and drink 10 pints of lager, then eat a really hot vindaloo with nann bread and 3 chapattis, see if you can manage a starter as well.

Go home, put the loo roll in the fridge, then weigh yourself and write it down, you will be too pi55ed to remember it.

In the morning, take the loo roll from the fridge, and have a good burn-out (take a couple of magazines to read).

Now weigh yourself again, you will have lost loads of weight overnight,

JUST NOTICED - change your avatar name as well, think positive, your are doomed to failure if you think like that

Less in more out.

We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do.

By all means cut down the calories, but keep in fruit and veg. try and do 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise 5 days a week. It will also be good for your heart.

Nothing fancy, no pills or silly supplements!

Here are a few things that I believe will help you obtain your goal...
*Drink water all the time...bring a water bottle with you where ever you go and don't drink pop or fruit juices.
*Portion control is a no brainer
*Toss anything containing high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, artificial flavorings, or added color
(in otherwords...read labels. It's hard at first but it gets easier< *Fruit is a must
*Exercise!!

i have tried many diets and am hitting 50. the one that helped me loose 50lbs last week and not feel like i was starving was a form of atkins. cut out all breads, potatoes, pasta, rice and sugar. if you are having a craving there is low carb bread that doesn't taste bad at all. there is also chocolate candy by randalls in a bag that are low carb. i have heard also on tv that tests have been done on different diets and atkins was rated number one in lose of weight and length of time keeping it off. it worked for me. good luck!!!
