However this job is temporary and will be finished next month. My husband get paid in cash, not that much. today I am 4 month pregnant. I wonder if should i go again and try to look for another job right away. I am from texas.

Medicaid is what you're talking about. Medicare is for elderly people. I would just ask the caseworker you had.

First of all , it's MEDICAID. Medicare is for 62+ or disabled.

Medicaid guidelines vary but go on household income and # of people in family..

You can wait until your job ends, thus having only your husbands income ( what you wish to declare) and you might qualify. but if you are collecting unemployment you might not qualify ( depends upon how much you get. Don't get another job! Just go through the motions and do a job search or what ever is required but let the prospective boss know you are pregnant !
Most won't hire you. Also remember you do not have to take a job if it is less then 80% of what you were previously getting paid.
Play the game right and you will qualify!

Well hunny, Medicare is for people like your grandma that are over 60 years old. Medicaid is something that would be better for you and your situation. To get approved you have to be dead broke and have no income. But keep trying because having a baby is very expensive. Good Luck!!

I think you mean medicaid.........
Medicare has guidelines that I don't think you meet. You have to be over age 65 or disabled.......

I think that instead of counting on the government to pay for you and your baby, you need to get a real job or your husband needs to get a good job and you need to make your own money. focus more on taking care of yourselves and your baby, and less on looking for a handout!
