Okay. I'm a 'girl' but my b/f doesn't know either. When you are copying songs onto a new CD- How do you separate them so you can call up individual tracks when you only want to play one song, please?

if the songs are written to the CD as .cda files they will play like a normal CD.
If they are saved as mp3's they can be called upon individually.

If your player is like mine you just press the number of the track on the remote and up it pops. Either that you can shift through the tracks till you get to the one you want without playing the ones in front.

That is done as standard on every package I've used - what on earth are you using?
