I have a crush on this boy in my class. He kind of knows that I like him because I flirt with him a lot and he flirts with me too. Yesterday, I told him I like him and he told me "I don't like you. I just like you as a friend." Today, he's acting like a totally different person. He's like trying to ignore me and when I try to flirt with him, he doesn't flirt back. I don't want this friendship to end and now I really regret telling him I like him. Is there anyway I can have the same kind of friendship we used to have? Please help...I don't want to end like this and I want these last three months worthy. By the way, I am 13, going to highschool next year, so I wouldnt be seeing him again.

Just back off for a while and give him time. It's an awkward situation when you like someone and they don't like you back. He probably feels embarrassed. Just leave him alone a while but act normal and friendly and show him that you're not bothered that he doesn't like you back. Maybe he'll come around, maybe he won't but there will be many other boys in your life so just move on.

Start by just saying hi every day. He'll get used to you again, don't worry. He's just a little uncomfortable around you right now. He'll get over it. Just take little steps. You can do it. You'll do great.
