can anyone help me how to prevent it.. i dont even know the causes.. any special hair care to prevent it?? thanks a lot!!!

I was using redken but I found something much better. K-pak by Joico. It was designed to prevent damage, their deep penetrating reconstructor has won stylist awards too. You can check it out on the website joico.com they explain the whole science and stuff behind it, but it really does a good job.

The cause is over styling and dryness. You can do alot of things to prevent it depending on your price range. The cheapest ways are washing with mayonnaise and beer once a week before you wash and condition your hair. And don't use a brush, use combs or picks. The best shampoo for bad hair is head and shoulders and it makes you hair really soft and easy to fix. Also avoid hair products with alcohol in them and trim the ends before you try any of these things.

You get a really good conditioner from your hair stylist. And get your hair cut every couple of weeks. That should prevent any split ends.

I always go through my hair every week and cut off any damaged ends. You can twist your hair in sections so all the ends stick out and cut off the split ones. Towel drying (just ring out your hair and let it air dry) blow drying and heat styling are all damaging and promote breakage and split ends. Only shampoo your roots and condition the ends.
The ends of your hair will always dry out and split eventually, but you can delay the process by taking good care of it.

You get spilt ends from not treating your hair right. Styling your hair with products that contain alcohol cause split ends. To get rid of them get a haircut to get rid of them and make sure you use conditioner. Are you a guy? If you are shave your head. It will get rid of all your bad hair.

getting a haircut will work. if u don't want it shorter get a trim
