I have been seeing a chiropractor for the past nine years. I started to go for the relief of back pain, but he was also able to get rid of my irritable bowel syndrome. Now I get adjusted regularly for wellness care.
Back pain has many different causes and only a doctor can diagnose the cause of your problem after taking a complete history and doing physical/orthopedic exams. Therefore, I believe you should make an appointment with a chiropractor to determine if they can help you. Not all chiropractors are the same. There are nearly a hundred different techniques used by chiropractors. There are a few different techniques that are the most common, and the primary focus is on spinal adjusting. Some do this by hand and others use instrument adjusting. Many chiropractors also use additional therapies such as muscle stim, therapeutic ultrasound, cold laser therapy, trigger point therapy, stretching, exercises, etc.

Yes. See a chiropractor. I am a chiropractic success story. It took ten years and lots of pain. But I got my back problems sorted out. Medical doctors always made the problem worse.
I have persuaded family members and friends to see chiropractors. As far as I know, all were helped.

Yes......I go quite frequently!!
My sister is actually a chiropractor. I suggest looking for a Palmer Graduate. They have a more healthy living approach to helping your aches and pains. Chiropractors can actually help take your pain away and create a maintenance level.

If you go see one make sure you make it clear that they need to permanently fix your problem, otherwise they will only temporarily fix it. That way you keep going back and they get your money. And check for a reputable one. My dad's going to one right now who lied about the price of a pillow for your neck--he claimed they were $95, swindled my dad into buying one for $45, my mom looked it up and it's a $14 pillow.
