when he hasnt really fought anyone that good.and why do some people underestemate oscar de la hoya when he has fought the best of his era?i still think de la hoya's experince is going to be the deciding factor may 5th.and not his age.look what he did to mayoraga!!!

Frank D is one of those who thinks that Floyd Mayweather is a fraud and that he hasnt fought against any kind of opposition in three years, he isnt pound for pound the best that is down to Manny Pacquiao and Rafael Marquez and hopefully on May the 5th Oscar destroys this big mouth fraud once and for all.

Blogbaba is one of those people who think Floyd Mayweather is pound for pound one of the best, but then again so is Oscar DeLa Hoya. That's what makes this one interesting. You don't get two of the very best in the ring at the same time very often. I give credit to DeLa Hoya, he never ducked anyone in his career, and this late in the game is still dangerous. Mayweather coming up in weight to fight Oscar evens out to an extent the age advantage Floyd would have had.
The most glaring problem Oscar will have with Floyd is speed. Floyd is faster than Shane Mosely, and Mosely gave DeLa Hoya trouble. I think Oscar will be in for a long night if he doesn't nail Floyd early, I don't see DeLa Hoya out pointing Mayweather. But then thats why they fight, so we can find out who's the best.

mayweather: speed, stregth, skill. hands down one of the toughest opponenets dela hoya will have. i wouldnt go as far as saying hes the best, but maywether is a great fighter. look at paquiao. speed, strength and skill. hes also a great fighter. now, he has that mean right hand. hes lethal with both hands now. but overall, mayweather has speed that no one today can match, along with the strength. cant wait for the fight.

Every boxer are better in different ways, however, Floyd Mayweather have excellent techniques and physical skills that makes him by far the pound-for-pound best fighter in the sport today.

He by far is the best, do to longevity and the many ways he wins fight. Ocar is good, but has been put in that spot by the media.
