well sorry but you have not given any real reason for why you want a dog at all. As for Min Pins, no they are not cute. They are Terriers and their size means nothing..They are one of the worst dogs to house train as are most small breed dogs. If you are expecting to get a dog that is house trained, go to a local shelter and find an older dog. You are not going to just get a puppy that is house trained automatically.

If you don't care about papers/registration you could do a search for a rescue group in your area. Most larger cities have rescues for Yorkies, pugs, chi's, etc. Going this route may get you an older dog that is already house trained.

Another option is your local humane society or pound. Most have websites where you can see what dogs are there.

A local vet may be able to direct you to a local breeder and since do many small dogs require cesarean births they may know of someone with a new litter.

Whatever you chose, be sure to research the breed before you commit. Different breeds have different personalities and you want to be sure your dog and you are a match.

Good luck

Miniature Pinschers are cute, they look like little Dobermans
There's also Chihuahuas, Pugs, Pekinese, Teacup Poodles, Miniature Daschunds, the list goes on.
If you want it to be housetrained, don't get a puppy. Get an older dog that someone is selling/giving away. Newspapers usually have ads in the classifieds for dogs for sale, or try to find a reputable breeder for that breed. Sometimes they might be a distance away, but for a good, healthy dog, sometimes you need to travel.
And also, make sure you research the breeds before you buy. They all have different temperaments, and you want one that will mesh with you.
Good Luck!

The SPCA in your area.

They have small dogs, big dogs, purebred dogs, mutts, house trained dogs, obedient dogs... all types of dogs. They cost no more than $200 for a puppy.

Do a pet search on petfinder.com for small adult dogs. If you truly want a dog that will stay small go with and adult as that way you will know they will not get any bigger.
