Most Government jobs give veterans preference.

You will need atleast a BS Degree to be an FBI Agent.

Your biggest asset would be any security clearence you currently have.

There are many web sites with job listings , just for people who already have security clearences.

When you get out of the military you will have an edge on applicants without prior military service. You can find out more from the FBI, or for general information about federal jobs to to "Jobs.gov".

vets get preference on state and federal jobs and county jobs. i am a disabled vet so i get a higher preference. when you get out make sure you file your DD214 with the county you live in. also check out the local VA office, it should be with your county offices. and if you want the VA phone number it is 1-800-827-1000 it will give you the VA office in what ever state you call from. good luck i hope you get in the FBI.
