for the last two years a guy I do not know keeps waving at me and smiling. i feel in my heart he is my soul mate. everytime I see him coming I shake all over. he has been coming in my work to eat { i am a waitress} But when he comes in he seems so distant he always comes in with his buddy, mind you this waving and smiling has been going on for two years and we don't know each other. help what to do? I have never felt this way before and I am 39 years old and experienced in life!

Goo for it ask for his number or talk to him what is the worst that could happen.. Its probably true love and you just never realized it. Maybe hes just too shy to ask you.. ANd you had better do it fast. what if he moves or something you don't want to live your life in regrets

Yea, 39, not getting any younger. Plus what would it hurt to start in a conversation with him. You won't loose anything by putting forth the effort first. Maybe he feels the same way about you but is the shy type or doesn't think your interested in him. Could be loosing out on valuable time if you two hit it off. He could be the man of your dreams and you'd be thinking, for the past 2 years look what I was missing out on. If you start a few conversations he may turn out to not be the person you thought he was. This will save you time and feelings when he comes in thinking about him. Better to step up and make the first move than day dream about it. Life is too short!

I dont know if he is exactly your soul mate, but with the interest that he has been showing you for the past 2 yrs should have made you curious. Why haven't you tried to establish some type of communication with him. You say he eats at the place where you are waitressing? Do the Alicia Keys thing(You Don't Know My Name)? If not that at the very least put your phone number on his bill to show him that you are interested in getting to know him better. I know you wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity to at least find out if you two are meant to be together. Chances like this are far and in between so may advise to you is take a shot...After all what have you got to lose? Good luck hope everything works out for you.

Look, get hid number, call him. You heard that song by Alicia Keys. She is that waitress at the coffee house and she asked him out. Like you said, you are 39 you dont need to beat around the bush.

Girl....if your feeling this man- talk 2 him. Especially if he is smiling and waving. Who knows he might just be overly friendly OR a HUGE flirt, either way you will never know where this could go if you dont take the initiave and talk to him and get them digits girl! Good Luck!!
