I planned a trip to the great wolf lodge. I already paid for it...it is on tuesday coming up. It was supposed to be me , my hubby, my daughter and her freind.
My hubby was called into work and cannot get out of it.
My daughters freind bailed because she didn't want to spend the night away from home.
So now it is me and my five year old. I can bring up to four people
So a friend i go to school with has a bf with a six yr old boy. But i am not sure if she could even take him or if he would be whiney the whole time. Should I ask her to go and bring him?

I have a 10 yr old girl niece. Her dad might not let her miss school. She sometimes doesn't want to play with 5yr old because she thinks she is too old. I am worried if i take her she might not play with her and try to go off and do her own thing.
I want to have some one for my daughter to play with.
Or do i take the girl i go to school with and my duagher and one of my friends who likes to play with kids.
Who should I take?

Better to take the girl you go to school with and a friend who likes kids. At least you will have some relief taking care of your daughter and having adults to talk to.

I know it seems like you should take someone with you. But just because you can take up to 4 people doesn't mean you have to. Maybe this would be a good time for you to have just some mother-daughter time. Taking your friend and her child means having to split your time between your friend and your daughter. Just go with your daughter, and do some fun things together. You may not have another opportunity to have this time with your daughter for a while, so take advantage.

You know what this trip seems like it is not worth taking the kids.... make it a weekend for you and your friends.... it will be more fun than shleping all of these kids along.. do not make the neice go she is 10 and she is a little old to entertain a 5 year old take your friend but not her son.

I would take your neice. I'm sure she will play with your daughter once they get up there with the indoor water park. I wish I could go. I love that place.

Your main concern is having someone to play with your daughter so i think i would ask her who she prefers to take maby it will make her feel good as a little girl to be able to make such a big decision for herself..

Go with your daughter.

At 5 years old, she would LOVE a mommy-daughter weekend.

Is there something wrong that you can't enjoy a long weekend with just your daughter?
