I am trying to figure out how to combine my daughter's "princess" birthday with Easter. We would like to have a Easter Egg Hunt, as well as "dress-up" time. Also, any advice on a poem or specific wording for the invitations would be great.

Have the party on a different day, like the next weekend. You could have a bunny cake for her on Easter when she is with just the family. Then have the princess party the following Saturday. Most families want their kids with their own families on easter.

Wow, she's my birthday buddy! Of course, I am 25 years older, but I would love a princess party...lol! If you are using real eggs, see if you can find princess decals to put on them for decorations (I suppose that would work on plastic eggs, too). Maybe have the party on Saturday the 7th instead on Sunday?

It's Easter
Someone's birthday too
Oh what a special day!
So won't you come and celebrate?
Let's hunt some eggs and play!

Is there a local children's farm you could visit? They normally have plenty of chicks and baby lambs around.
