Without knowing a complete history such as where it hurts, how long, how did it start, etc., and doing physical or orthopedic testing, I don't really know enough about your pain to give you good advice. There are many alternative methods to treating pain. These include chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, biofeedback, ice, heat, trigger point therapy, cold laser therapy, meditation, yoga, deep breathing, exercise, weight control, stress management, getting enough sleep, etc.

If you are in "MAJOR" pain, why would you rule out using medications? Ok, maybe you have your reasons. But the bottom line is if you have pain that is 9 or 10 on a scale of 10 you're looking at taking medications or learning to deal with a lot of pain.
I'm a chronic pain sufferer and nothing, and I mean nothing puts a dent in my pain besides medications. And even with what I take it's not gone entirely.
