Bactrims Effectiveness! How long will it take for my Bladder Infection to go away with Bactrim?

Im taking 1 dose 2x a day for 7 Days. Today is only my first day of taking it. Should I be seeing any improvement or is it too soon. Thank You!

I think I have less pain in the bladder area and the burning seems to have eased up.I still have the frequency but that may due to all the water Im drinking.

gosh aren't we a pair?I also have a bladder infection and throw in a kidney infection to boot yay me what can I say when I get sick I GET sick lol.
They said I should be seeing and feeling a difference within 3 days using the bactrim.Today was also my first day and I do feel a little ease on the pressure...you know what pressure I mean I'm sure.But don't forget to use it the full 7 days though and drink lotsa water and cranberry juice too...

Bactrim is quite effctive especially for those who have used it very rarely. You should be seeing an improvement by the second day, if not sooner. Remember that with Bactrim the flora of your digestive system may be affected, thus making you prone to a yeast infection. Eat yogurt with active cultures of lactobacillus once or twice a day while on Bactrim as a preventive measure.

It's too soon. The burning and frequency should go away by tomorrow or the next. You'll still need to stay on the meds for the full prescription length to get rid of the infection completely.

Give it 24-36 hours in your system- also try drinking some cranberry juice that helps bladder infections.
