The mission of a soldier is to close with, capture and/or destroy the enemy.

The Queen of Battle is infantry.

The first things one goes through (whether Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy or Coast Guard) is basic training. There you are taught how to use a rifle and hand gun.

THAT makes EVERYONE a soldier.

Its going to be tough either way. From everything I have read the Marines 0311 are "better" than the 11Bs. If you go Army I wouldn't do infantry unless you are going with an Option 40.

Go 11B and then volenteer for jump school. I was 11b4p. If you want to put your life on the line, make sure you are surrounded by the best.

If you want to join the best and most respected, join the MARINES! It ain't about benefits in the Marines, people join for one benefit that is like no other, and that is earning the title MARINE.

Best uniforms, best training, best reputation...they are just the BEST of the BEST.

11bullet catcher means you go in small groups usually and go door to door, down street, etc. and secure areas, attack enemies, provide security, pass **** out, and a million other things. Go buy full spectrum warrior for PS2, its kind of like that but more intense.

I wouldn't have had it any other way. While the rest are typing forms and cleaning up, you will be hunting the enemy. That's what REAL SOLDIERS are supposed to do!
