You DONT want to lose weight - the weight gain is normal and expected, especially since you are working out 5 times a week with a very good balanced training program.

What matters is your body fat ratio - which should be swiftly approaching zero at this point. You should be able to find at least 100 places nearby that will test you for this for a very cheap price.

The weight / height charts are to be avoided by you at this point. What matters to you now is you body shape and body condition. Weight means nothing to you now. As you become healthier and healthier, your body becomes heavier naturally.

At a certain point, your waist size will also increase slightly, and your arm, thigh and bust size will also increase as well. This is natural as you approach a totally fit body state.

Whatever you do, do NOT diet at this point - or ever again in your life. Continue whatever you have been doing. You are doing things just right so far. If anything at all, add a nutritionist to your list of people to work with and get an evalution of your diet - you may be undereating at this point, or soon will be and need to increase your intake on certain items in order to properly maintain your body correctly.

Muscle weighs more than fat. Are you doing high reps and low weight or low reps and high weight? If it is the latter, then you probably have gained muscle mass. Muscle is more dense than fat, but it takes up less space...if you gain muscle, your scale weight may go up even as you're slimming down. Rather than just using a scale to measure your progress, you can get your body fat tested on a regular basis to get a better idea of what you're gaining and/or losing. If that isn't an option, you can take measurements at different areas of the body...if you're losing inches, you're on the right track.

don't always trust the scale. Your weight fluctuates all the time because of water weight. But since it's a consistent weight gain, don't worry too much, you're most likely observing gains in muscle mass. Muscle weighs 3x more than fat I believe. Don't worry too much about you're weight, be more concerned with how you look and feel.

You have reached that point in your exercise routine that the fat loss has begun building muscle.
Now you need to do less weights and more cardio in aim to burn off more of the calories you eat. ALTHOUGH, for "ultimate" toning you should consult your physician before you over-exert yourself.
Your MD has a device that measures your BODY MASS INDEX that measures how your body metabolizes what you eat.
A weight scale measures only HOW HEAVY YOU ARE (including the water in your system (muscles, body fat, etc.)
Explain your goals and your program as any "reputable" Professional should recommend what to do now.

Your scale says that you weigh more because you are developing muscle which weighs more than fat. The muscle will soon burn away the fat, it usually takes a few months of working out. Keep eating right and exercising and you will see a difference.

Because muscle weighs more then fat.

You're probably losing fat and gaining muscle. Scales aren't everything! Does your clothing feel looser? Try keeping track by measuring your weight/thighs/hips... you should see the difference :)

Good luck!

well, if you don't cut back on your food portions and you exercise, you're not really going to lose any weight. Also, don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat.
