1) lost money.
% profit are based on purchase price not selling price. So the first car was bought for 5000 and sold for 6000 making 1000 (20%) of 5000. Second car was bought for 7500 and sold for 6000, loosing 1500 (20% of 7500).
1000 - 1500 =-500
2) Many ways. Can crawl in to smashed beaker. Can crawl in to science lab.Can craw in to it (which is NOT the same as crawling inside it). Science teacher is not human or can shape change.
3) see other answers
4) Assumes Maia is human?
5)At this temp they are the same -40 Celsius = -40 Fahrenheit.
6) clock
7) ton reversed is not.
8) Points car north. Then drives in reverse.

I only figured out a few...
1) He broke even. (20 - 20 = 0)
2) The science teacher crawled into the SCIENCE LAB. (Not the beaker.)
8) He drove in reverse.
Hope that helped a little! :)
