a gf is someone you are into and want something more then just friendship or are in a relationship romantically, a best female friend is a girl who is your friend but you dont have romantic feelings for, shes just a good girl friend to talk to about girls cause shes obviously one of them and know a thing or two about her own kind.

The difference is this:
Girlfriend- Someone you date, hug romantically, maybe kiss if older, cuddle, and love on in a romantic way!
Best Female Firend- Someone you play outside games with (bikes, tennis, catch, tag, etc.), hug friendly, NO KISSES, laugh and talk to a lot, (more than you would with a gf)

It depends on the relationship, your best female friend could be your gf, or a possiblitiy of a relationship. On the other hand it could be platonic

a gf (girlfriend) is like when u acually go out with someone on like more then one date. and like best female....well umm im guessing a girl who's your friend that your good friends with u just arent going out.
