As our world governments are coming closer and closer to the idea of tracking every individual, at all times....

What would you do if ALL the world governments...tomorrow... were to invoke the requirement that every human being must be branded with a inbedded tracking chip... and that this chip would be your only way to live and work within this world?

((i.e. All monetary exchanges, All travel, All work, etc etc etc is monitored and recorded by this chip))

What would you do?

Would you allow yourself be implanted with the chip, or would you become a fugitive to this and run?

Just so everyone knows... I understand that this is what Revelations says will happen. I am not asking to be told that.

I want to know what YOU, personally, would do.

Ever read Ira Levin's "This Perfect Day"? Similar premise.

I would detest the idea of course, but sometimes in this life you must be practical and compromise. I have a family to feed, and if this is what is necessary for me to work and earn money to care for my family, it is what I will do.

Actually the book of the Revelation doesn't say anything about implanting a chip.. that comes from people like Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, Jerry Jenkins, and Grant Jeffery.

The only thing the revelation says is that a mark will be required for everyone to buy or sell.. and that it will be placed on the hand or the forehead. That's it.

I'm not big on government intervention on things.. this chip would be opposed by many people, including non-christians.

I would bravely march into the office where they did the implants and tell them to do their worst...just before passing out because I hate medical procedures. I'd allow myself to be implanted with the chip. I do not believe this is what is being referred to as the mark of the beast. People can not be "tricked" into accepting the mark and damning themselves to hell. It is a willful choice to follow evil - and there is nothing evil about a chip, per se, except what people interpret from the Bible.

I don't know why people get worked up over this "chip" idea. The government does exactly what you said through social security numbers and whatnot. I seriously doubt any one will be stupid enough to suggest implanting such a thing.....and if they do, it's time for people to get off of their lazy behinds, stand up for their rights, and vote against it.

Why's it matter? They can track everything we do anyway. Eventually.
Everything you've ever typed on a site like this can be tracked back to you through your IP.
Everyone you've ever called on a phone can be tracked back to you through phone records.
Every store you've ever walked in can be tracked to you via cameras (within the month, after they erase the video if nothing happened).
Everything you've ever bought using a credit card, or any money you've had passed through your bank account, any job you've ever held, can be tracked.

Let me ask you: How is this "tracking chip" any different?

The future is now.

Well, I would probalby rip it out with a knife and run away to a primitve country were they cannot track me, but where I could practice my religion. If i could not rip it out, and youd ahve a hard time stopping me, I would put some wire mesh over it, that stops it from emiting or recieving an inteligable signal. If they caught me, I would do everything in my power to get away and maybe die trying.

Maybe it's just because someone tried to kidnap me when I was a kid, but what scares me most about this, is it would mean kidnappers would be cutting up little kids to get those chips out of them.

Why can't we just use our fingerprints or other natural individual markers that we already have?

It'd seem a little unusual. I'd arrange to be one of the later adopters simply since it would take so long to implement, and watch to see how it played out. If nothing strange happened, yeah, I'd prolly play along. I can always cut the thing out later and place it in a ring or something.

I would not get the chip! You must have a level of insanity to submit yourself to something like that, because there is no real logical justification for it.
