Human contribution to global warming in 2006 - 29 billion tons http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/6374967.stm

Density of methane (farts) 0.717 kg/m³ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methane

Population of the world 6.5bn https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/print/xx.html

Number of m³ methane required to equal human contribution to GW = 4.044tn

Contribution required per person = 6223 m³ per year or 17m³ per day.

Dietary requirements to produce 17m³ of methane a day - 5,000 tins of beans, 200 bags of sprouts, 500 hot curries, 250 gallons of beer.
