Certain types of depressions are found to be genetic. Bipolar depression can be genetic. You can't change who you are. Changing yourself for another person is just stupid. It's good that you are trying to improve your life with medication and yes, everybody has good days and everybody has bad. You need to work on your own confidence. I'm 18 years old and my self confidence was horrible only a year ago. I found out that, by giving myself that confidence, telling myself good job here and there and rewarding myself, I was altogether a happier person. You don't need a woman to complete you if you can make yourself happy. And don't think about what your ex said. she must have been a stupid woman to leave you.

Question #1: How powerful do I genetics are to the outcome of our lives? They are only 50% of what determines outcome.

Question #2: People nearly always have a choice. Doing nothing at all is a choice.

Question #3: We have a great deal of power over the choices we make, the choices that affect our lives.

Question #4 (hidden question): We are what we are, yes, but it's a matter of choice as to how good a "we" we can be. We can change. This is difficult and sometimes painful but it's productive. We can also sit back and wallow in self-pity. This is also painful, but easy and non-productive. Sometimes destructive. The choice is ours....and yours.

I BELIEVE THAT OUR PARENT HAVE SOME TO DO WITH WHO WE ARE. BUT AT THE SAME TIME WE ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE OUR LIVES AFTER WE LEAVE HOME. I'M ALSO SOMEONE WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS AND FOR YEAR I RAN FROM IT BUT NOW AT 31 I'M HAVING TO FACE ALL MY DRAGONS. BUT YOU CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE ANYWAY YOU WANT TO. I BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS A GAME AND YOU MUST PLAY TO GROW BUT IF YOU CAN'T THEN YOU HAVE GAVE UP ON LIFE. YOUR LIFE WILL ALWAYS CHANGE BUT YOU HAVE TO FIND WHAT PART YOU WANT TO BE PART OF. ALSO MOST GO ELSE WHERE TO FIND HAPPINESS CAN YOU CAN'T DO THAT BECAUSE THEY WILL ONLY FILL THAT FOR SO LONG AND THEN YOU ARE BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE BEFORE. YOU GO FIND YOUR OWN HAPPINESS AND IT WILL FEEL BETTER AND IT WILL LAST. YOU ALSO NEED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT UNDERSTANDS YOU AND WHAT YOU GO THOUGH EVERY DAY BECAUSE IF THEY DON'T THEN THEY WILL LEAVE. BUT LIFE IS LIFE AND YOUR LIFE IS ONLY IN YOUR HANDS. YOU MAKE OR BRAKE IT
