I think it creates more problems.
I feel it is a negative thing to give god negative attributes. When I read the ten commandments, and god says, "I am a jealous god" I can't get past those words. What has the creator of the earth and stars to be JEALOUS about? We have foisted our shortcomings onto god.

Yes, it creates more problems.
"Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great."
Qur'an 2:255

No for Jesus was an Anthropomorph as the Angel of the LORD or GOD's messenger or commander of the Lord's Army. Either way Jesus was both and fully man and GOD.;

Obviously we create God in our own image. It's only natural since few, if any, of us experience God. Does it cause problems? I don't think so. It's probably as harmless pretending to be a Reverend Priestess who worships mythical "daemons".

Nah. Anthropomorphization or not is irrelevant. It's simply our creation of him (and associated baggage) that's the problem.

I think people invent gods for very human reasons and they necessarily anthropomorphise them for the same reason (imagining that something like another human exists, but more powerful - an alpha male figure).

Sorry - the Bible says we were created in His image. So, figure maybe God has a form of emotions. What is stated is that He loves, gets angry, is saddened, and hates.
That's what the Bible says, not "we".
