my family has always named our pets after Greek Gods and Goddesses. Pick one that matches the dogs personality and breed. My Boxer's name is Athena. I had another Boxer named Apollo.

Depends on the dog. I wouldn't name a toy poodle "Ripper" or a Boxer, "Baby". I've heard of names like "Sabrette" 'cause the owner liked hotdogs, Anthony for a Pit Bull mix, Lucy for a Golden Retriever *****, Dizzy 'cause the owner likes Jazz, etc. Pick something you like that you wouldn't mind shouting at the top of your lungs when your dog takes off.

It depends on the dog type & gender.
I named my dogs peanut butter (pb) and jelly (j) because of their personality and traits. Try to find a catchy name
