a regular keg is really a half keg u can get like coors light bud or miller light at any liquor store that stocks kegs for like $60-75 plus usually $50 for deposit on the keg and $10 deposit on the tap and if u return it within 7 days with no damage u get the $50 and the $10 back

A keg costs about a $100 at Wal-Mart. There are a few different sizes. A friend bought a big keg for a party and that is what he paid for his. They will usually give some of your money back if you return the empty keg.

$75 to $100 plus a deposit to make sure you return the tap and empty keg. There are half kegs ( what most of us think of as a keg , I don't think full kegs are sold retail )- they have the equivilant of 168 , 12 ounce beers in them. A pony keg is smaller but I am not sure by how much- maybe half.

You used to be able to get them for $50, but now its probably closer to $70. Either way, you need to put down a huge deposit for the barrel (keg) and the tap. Also, its good if they can rent you a large bucket to put the keg in. Putting it on the ground sucks because it doesn't keep it as cold and it creates a huge mess.
