You should have told the old g/f when you bumped into her that you're married & won't be able to have a drink with her. Since you didn't, it speaks volumes about your intentions. If the shoe were on the other foot, what would the answer be? Trust me, the wife always finds out, in the end.

You are going to open a BIG can of worms if you go whether you tell her or not, cause more than likely she'll find out and be angry if you don't tell her. If your relationship is honest tell her and then tell her why you need to have a drink with the old girlfriend. Better yet take the wife out for drinks and have fun with her!!!

The fact taht you are asking means that you probably think your wife would not be happy/. Maybe best to rememberthis person is a past girlfriend........great to chat if you bump into and only polite....but to start the lets go for a drink routine is probably neither necessary or sensible. But I suspect you know all this already.

Cheaters should lie that's what they are best at. If you have to ask if you should tell your wife then you are not planning an innocent drink you're planning at the very least a flirtation and possibly far more. Don't look to people on line to condone your behavior it's tacky and very mean to the woman who is waiting for you with love in her heart and trust in her mind. God bless her because apparently you're not planning to be a blessing. Go for a drink indeed!

mate dont even think of going there, you risk it all with you wife. Be a man and tell this ex that you are not on the market any longer. It would make a nice change to see a man with integrity and decency in this situation. Just cause you can doesnt mean you should!

Tell the woman your married and let your wife know invite her to come along. How long ago was this relationship? I hope your talking about an ex from back in the day and not like just before you met your wife.

I really don't think that would be a good idea because you are married. You don't need any kind of temptation. Even if its innocent on your part, it may not be on hers. If you really want to go you should definitely tell your wife if its nothing between the two of you. If you don't tell your wife then it looks as if your hiding something and being sneaky.

Always tell the wife. And don't go unless the wife gives you permission. How would u feel if your wife bumped into her ex and went for a drink with him and didn't tell u?

Don't go... if you have her # call her up & gracefully decline saying I am married now and if my wife told me she was going for a drink with an old flame, but that there isn't anything there to worry about, I wouldn't approve... I don't find that doing this to her would be OK... Nice to see you again though, take care!!!

If i were you i wouldn't go. this could cause big problems for you
1. You would feel guilty if you did go and not tell your wife.
2. If your wife found out there would be big problems between you both.
3. You may end up being single again, depends on you really.
