For one reason or another my phone doesnt have a dial tone. Everything is connected correctly and I can't figure out what's wrong.

These things might help:

Someone said my phone just kept ringing and didnt go to the answering machine.
I recently got AT&T Yahoo DSL installed. So I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with my internet connetion?

go and buy a DSL filter....and see if that works....at Radio Shack!

you might have a broken wire somewhere along the line, or maybe the central office technicians screwed up while wiring your line for DSL service( these things happen every once in a while), try to find your main jack and plug a phone into it, if the phone works there, that means you have an inside wire problem, if it doesn't that means the trouble is usually outside. Call your local phone company and report the problem, there is no charge for fixing trouble outside your home. broadband phoe, from my understanding, sucks. itll cut out at times, doesnt work in a power outage, thus, if you have an emergency in an outage, no 911 for you. call the company,er, go to their support website, i mean.
