This is really interesting. Everyone here has said how dangerous it is and how quickly medical attention should be sought, but no mention of leaving such a substance lying around where a child could get it or the dangers of smoking or passive smoking...just a thought...

Do exactly as the RN said. Tobacco is no joke, it is dangerous when ingested, especially by a little one.

What the baby just tasting it? Like a small amt in the mouth?
Just give the baby fluids to flush it through.
Then expect diarrhea for a couple days.

tobacco is very poisonous especially for little ones...you need to get him to the er right away... call the poison control center they can tell ya what to do while you are in route to the doctor.

give her 8 glasses of water and make her down them. then induce vomitting. dowing water like that will help with the throwing up. then call the local poison center and ask for medical advice (antibiotics).
