i am currently a sophmore in high school and i am 17. When can i enlist for the marines?

You need to be a junior, even then you will be in the delayed entry program until you graduate.

Check with your local recruiter and see if they are accepting GEd's and try that.

When I was 17 I enlisted inthe Marines, but had a 90 delay.

17 1/2 you can enlist, 18 you can go

Try this, wait until you graduate from high school!!!
Then you just might have more to offer the Corps and will have more maturity to deal with things.

Yes with your parents written permissionand have a HS Diploma

all i can say is.....

1) think about this carefully....are you prepared to sign you life away to the army??? ( i did and its good! but its up 2 you)

2) the age in the UK is 17, but go to your local army careers office (we have these in the UK) and ask there

If you can get your parents permission you can join now otherwise you'll have to wait until you're 18.
