I am currently in the CSPI program- I have a guaranteed spot at OCS when I'm done college. But it is very selective-you have to have a 4 your degree, pass the physical requirement, tattoo policy, go before an interview board, score at least a 1100 SAT or 109 ASVAB and then they will consider you. As for duties...i put it like this- if you want to do the fun stuff-go enlisted. If you want to supervise, take the responsibility for all the people under you, and stand in the bridge navigating-then officer. But the main job is supervision, counseling and doing evaluations. there no real labor involved.
