just do what my husband and i still do from our first date.. we go to the restaurant and order the same thing and try and sit in the same booth. we have done that for the last two years. i think it is so cool!!! we do that or go to eat lunch and then have a small dinner later that night. :D good luck and congrats!! we did that same thing b/c when our dating anniversary hits, we had to save up for our wedding and honeymoon a month later. :D

Picnic in the park, sparkling cider to toast with, procciuto, havarty dill cheese, italian bread, brown mustard sandwiches. Apples, grapes.

Men are simple creatures,. A bbq with plenty of meat and beer will do just fine. Make "I love you" sign and hang it on the deck or find an "i love you" cake decor and put it on a slab of ribs, This is creative, memorable and unexpensive to do.

For a gift you can give something from the electronics or tool department: a dvd, a cd, a tool, a video game, or a gadget.

Steer clear off the clothing section. Men do not like clothes as gifts.

Boys love tools. I bought my bf a great pocket tool that had tiny flashlight, pliers, cork screw and a knife, It came in a fancy gift box. He LOVED it! I got it for Chritsmas, and out of all of the other expensive stuff that I got him, he likes this one the best, uses it daily and cannot seem to get enough of. Those poclet toold are in the 25-50 dollar range.

There are other ones by Swiss Army Co, that have memory sticks along with the swiss knofe, I think they are so cool./ You can get those at amazon for about 35 dollars.

Another idea is a Sports Illustrated magazine subscription. You can never go wrong with that and it will be about 35 dollars.

I hope this helps.

Good luck

If you're saving up for a wedding how can you have an anniversay already? Did you get married at the JOP? Leave him a simple note in his wallet where he keeps his money. Have it read something like this,

"I'd do it all over again" "I love you!"

It is always sweet to celebrate the 1 year anniversary, why not have a nice romantic night at home, have if anyone is near to not bother you for the entire day. Shut off the phones and lock all the doors and just have a day for you both.

Hope it goes well.
