He's probably digesting. That's why our stomachs seem to growl too - digesting our food, which then makes us hungry again. He might have indigestion, too, which is why he doesn't want to eat. Give him a few more hours and let him outside to munch on some grass if he needs to.

I don't know if this applies to dogs too, but my moms stomach growls alot lol. The doctor told her the noisier your stomach is the healthier it is. Its because it is digesting your food properly and it is the sound of your food going through your stomach. I have been tolds by doctors that if your stomach is not making any noise at all it means your food is not moving, which could mean you have a blockage and you will be constipated. So maybe its a good thing. Watch her if it does not setle down a bit by like tomarrow you may want to ask a vet. But if she does not act like she has pain she is probably just fine. My chihuahua mini dashund mix does it too.

If your dog has a 'growling stomach' but doesn't want to eat treats, then he may have a 'stomachache' ... and if it continues past his 'regular feeding time' and he shows at least one other sign, like 'lack of energy' or 'pain' or anything UNUSUAL, then you should take him to see a vet ASAP. Because your dog is a puppy and a very small breed, you can't 'wait' as long to get him treated as you could a 'larger breed' puppy ... but it may just be a 'temporary' thing, and I'd give him at least a couple more hours before I'd start to 'really worry' about him.

In my experience, dogs stomach growl when they are not feeling well. Don't be surprised if he barfs up a little. I'm not sure what is happening in there, but this happens to my dog sometimes, and she is usually better the next day.

If he is NOT better the next day, he may need to see a doctor.

Sometimes they make funky noises because they are about to poo, because their food is digesting. Other times it is because they are hungry. Watch out because he may have gas too. Or even worse is is about to have diahrea. Good luck!
