This myth of jesus returning is not only the silliest belief in Christianity---but also the most dangerous--as it assumes Christ will come back with a sword in one hand--to smite down the non-believers--& a magic wand in the other that will restore the earth to its previous pristine state--a good excuse for theists to keep fowling their own nest.
Perhaps those theists who subscribe to this inane stupid belief would do well to meditate on Christ's teachings in Luke 17:21-"The Kingdom of God will NEVER come with signs---for the Kingdom of God is WITHIN you.Christ warned his followers to keep well away from "religious" people who indulged in the cultish belief in "signs"

Believe what you will. I will believe what I will.
The answer is yes you will take up arms, but you lose. I read the book.
But really, this is what the real question is.
Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.
But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.
If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.
The Good Person Test.
How will you do? Pass or fail?
Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?
Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?
Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?
Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?
See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?
If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.
Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.
The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

This atheist doesn't take up arms without a good cause.
Should Jesus come back and take his followers, then I won't take up arms. I doubt he'd leave with that many people, as so many people are acting un-Christ-like, while proclaiming to be Christians.
But I wouldn't shoot Jesus. Not unless he turned out to be a jerk who is as hateful as Fred Phelps claims he is.

You say that Jesus will not return. The Word of God says that He will.
Therefore sir, I will believe the Word of God and tell you that you are a liar.
Atheists are the children of Satan, whether they believe in him or not. The Word of God says that you are either a child of God, or you are a child of Satan. Since Satan is a liar, and the father of all lies, the lies that you tell are proof to me that what I say is true, and Satan is your father.
As far as your atheist brothers taking up arms goes, they may throw up their arms, and beg for forgiveness when Jesus returns. Because your knee will bow, and your tongue confess that He is God. Scripture will be fulfilled, and it will be too late for you.
Jesus loved you so much that He suffered the horror of the cross for you. Do not spit in His face. Repent, and be born again.

The statement that "Jesus is dead" is a clear indication that you believe he did exist. Therefore, admiting to being an atheist is incorrect. Yes, in answer to your question. All non-believers will be in the final battle against Christ. The Bible predicts that during the tribulation, people will lash out against God. Fear and anger will fuel their hatred ultimately causeing their condemnation....

Those who lean unto there own understanding of scripture are leading others astray and blinded by their "pride!" But this has to occur for the Kingdom of God is coming to this earth and establish His way as the only way.
Pride is man's downfall. The End of the circle of man's self rule will be the beginning of Christ's Kingdom but that "pride" must be broken first!

How would you know anything
if your not in Christ.
For only in Christ can you
know the truth. So it's no
wonder that your saying
what your saying.
