If you're talking about a sinus headache alone, then just treat it as you would any headache.

If you mean a sinus infection or if you suspect that you may have a sinus infection, SEE A DOCTOR.

You don't need either. Sometimes I take an expectorant to help the fluids drain and tylenol for minor pain, but generally it's good to hit the problem at the source.
Try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). I've been doing it at work too.

The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20.

You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s also some good info on wiki)

So you found out your headaches are sinus induced?
Just have the ibuprofen(antiinflamatory) with codeine for the headache, and try to work on your sinus problem individually, there are homeopathic medicines made by Brauer , try the sinus nasal spray, or sinus tablets, just recomended homeopathic range cause they're really safe to use and have heard they are effective. Some people have such bad sinus problems they have to get them drained via syringe every fortnight, hope you get better soon, see a doctor if pain is unbearable so you can get a stronger pain relief.
