It doesn't happen often, but sometimes my brain will actually pulse and I'll get this wave of dizziness that'll cause me to stop for a few seconds to regain my concentration. They don't really hurt, they're just really annoying.

Does anyone else suffer from this? Anyone got any idea what causes it? I don't think it's stress, since the pulses happen sometimes when I'm very relaxed.

So.......any ideas?

Usually a wave of dizziness is a sudden drop in blood pressure
It can be caused by many reasons, most are of no concern.
Sometimes when you get up fast , it happens
Sometimes after having been suddenly scared, it happens.
But it could be caused by an irregular heatbeat, and that is something to be concerned about.

If it happens a couple of times a year, I wouldn't be concerned, But if it starts happening a couple times a week, have it checked out. Sometimes it is hard to find if the heart just spams occasionally, Sometimes the doctor will order a "Holter" test, where you wear a heart monitor for 24 hrs to see if anything happens then.

It sounds like something causes pressure on your brain when this happens. Perhaps you have slight build up of blood for some reason, or a growing tumor. I think a doctor might be a good visit to make.

It is possible that it is a type of seizure but there is no way to know for sure. If these episodes happen frequently you should go to the doctor
