No worries, it is actually much healthier that way. Most crusts are baked with butter and filled with calories and fat. The tortilla is a healthy alternative. Your best bet is to actually make a Calzone/Quesadilla with all the ingrediants.

Try this one:
Flour Tortilla
Cheddar Cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Sausage (cooked and crumbled)
Pepperoni

Directions:

Coat pan with nonstick spray. Place 1 flour tortilla in the pan. Sprinkle a handful of cheddar cheese and or mozzarella cheese on the salsa and tortilla. Add pepperoni and sausage and more cheese. Using a spatula, fold over so that it looks like a half moon. Brown on both sides.

Take out of pan, and cut with a pizza cutter.

You could try making a cheese tortilla, those are always tasty. Just put the cheese and some pepperoni on a tortilla and microwave it to melt the cheese.

Or go look up a pizza crust recipe since you have enerything else you need.

Gross? If so, then I must be disgusting because that sounds good to me. :)

It's the same principle you'll find in the "Mexican Pizza" at Taco Bell, and the biggest issue is making sure all of the ingredients are heated and the cheese is melted, but not allowing the tortilla to burn. Maybe even try a multigrain or whole-wheat tortilla for a more healthy alternative. With good ingredients and a solid knowledge of their properties, and proper technique, it's not difficult to make any type of food good. Enjoy. :)

I use tortillias all the time for pizza, my kids dont mind..i usually toast the tortillia a little bit in oven or oven toaster then make as usual....alot of kids dont like much crust...this is perfect. Also for adults trying to lose weight and not have all the carbs and bread you can make with whole wheat tortillas....good luck

This is a great idea! I never thought of that. My 2 year old does not like crust. She only eats the toppings. I think a tortilla would be thin enough that she wouldn't mind. Oh yeah, I don't think it would be gross at all.

Do it. My son, now 18, loves them. As he got older and started making them himself, he'd make his own original. Taco sauce, sharp cheddar cheese, and green onions.

English muffins work good too and so do biscuits in a can.

that sounds good kinda. However if you have biskets you can flatten each indivisual out and then put the stuff on it, then put in over at 350 for about 10mins. It's yumm
