When I am standing or walking I get this feeling like a very warm gush of blood in one spot on the lower part of my left leg just under my knee. What is it? does anyone else get this?

I get this as well, I put it down to being on my feet most of the day with my job...does your job involve standing a lot? Quinine helps...its in tonic water or you can but the tablets from health shops. But if youre not sure see your GP, better safe than sorry!! x

I had a similar problem with my daughter. I cant remember what it is called but it is quite common with teenagers. There are boy and girl versions of it. I would check it out with your GP just to make sure though.

Sounds like irritation of a nerve ending. I wouldn't worry about it - I had the same thing and it went away after a few weeks.

I think it could be some vein or artery problem. Perhaps the beginnings of a clot or thrombosis.
