...to have a real relationship with someone you met online? even if they don't live that far away... i'm not really sure

Yes. I know plenty of people, including my dad, who are happy with marriges with people they met online. Eharmony.com is a good site because it is very comprehensive in the questions you ask people and so it isn't going on blind dates, you actually are in some way already related or even attracted/interested in the person before you meet them. I would make sure it is a safe site though, and that you talk to the person a LOT online to make sure you are not going to be in any kind of danger before meeting them. Good luck!

Well...define relationship. I'd say it's 2 people that care for eachother deeply and would do anything for eachother. Not just friends, but 2 people that share that special connection...if you feel that special connection with that person, then you can date. Even if it is online, which i dont highly recomend...but It's possible to have that relationship.
