Dear you,

You know tea is of Asian origin, do you remember that Great Britain was occupying India some years back? I think I read once that her Majesty enjoyed tea, she thought it was exotic, and British people love doing whatever the queen does, specially at that time, where it was considered as a sign of good taste or they thought they would be considered as high class people!! So they kept imitating until that became a tradition and some kind of trade mark...

This is only theory...

Because just like Coke is a poular drink in the United States tea is popular in England.

some people drink it as a social thing... some people drink it because it has caffine in it which makes it addictive... and some people drink it because they just like the taste i guess...

Well.. I have a better question for you, answer this question why do americans take foreigners that have eaten american food to mcdonalds so they think all american food is greasy and bad for you.
