Being a Troll

2007-03-16 10:51:19 · answer #1 · answered by just_here 3 · 3 3

Like most others have said, any job. I got my current job with just one tattoo on my arm showing, but since then, I have had my arms completely covered and I don't wear a long sleeved shirt unless it's absolutely required, or cold! The most important thing is to be a good person and worker and don't act like the stereotype that others have of how a tattooed person should be. I think, though, that just by the nature of your question, you're not a loud punk with an attitude, which is probably what these maroons on here think people with tattoos are...

Theoretically you can get ANY job... however, if you have a tattoo on your forehead (or someplace else that's REALLY obvious: hands, face, etc) people will be less likely to hire you... if you're SERIOUSLY the best person for a very elite job (example: astronaut) they might choose someone over you who doesn't have visible tattoos (no one will care if you have a tattoo on your butt unless you tell or show them, because they will never know...

You can have any job, just as long as you cover the tattoos if your boss asks you too. Any job when you deal with the public will most likely require you to cover the tattoos.

I think it's hilarious that people think you can't get a good job if you have tattoos. I have never had a problem. Maybe it's my line of work (I do accounting/account coordinating).

I honestly think that you can get a job doing anything you can even if your inked. Although all of my tattoos can be hidden easily. Or covered with makeup such as Color Tration.

Any job you can get without them. Unless your face is tattooed...then you'd better be extra qualified. I work for a national corporation and a lot of people here (myself included) are tattooed.

Any jobs you want. I work in a nice office and I have a tattoo on my wrist. As long as you cover it up if someone asks you to you will have no prob.

Minister, College Professor, Dentist, Doctor, Lawyer, Astronaut, Pilot........There is NO job in the world that having tattoos makes it impossible to do

If you are qualified, probably pretty much anywhere.
It also depends on how many, what, and where the tattoos are.
I have a nose piercing and a tattoo on my ankle, and I'm a receptionist.
