What??? The leftover pork chops I reheated for supper last night were no good? Are we gonna die???

No, really just kidding around with you! People do not like to reheat pork because it will dry out too much if not done correctly. You can add a little broth to the meat and reheat it and it will be just fine. Or if you have a pork chop or something wrap it tight and then reheat it.

It is safe to eat reheated pork if that is your concern as long as it was refrigerated properly after it was cooked.

You can reheat pork as long as it is thoroughly reheated right through and because of modern feeding practices, trichinosis is a no longer a concern. Although trichina is virtually none existent in pork, if it were present, it would be killed at 137 degrees F. That's well below the recommended end cooking temperature for pork, which is 160 degrees F

I'm not understanding what you mean. Do you mean you want to know why it can't be reheated without being so tough? If so, just make sure you reheat the pork slowly, or make sure that it is properly covered.

Good Luck!

P.S. The guy before me is right. Reheat the meat to 165F or risk getting food bourne illness.

To be honest with you I didn't know that you couldn't. I've been reheating it for lots of years.Try using some of the gravy that was made when you cooked it.
