What do people expect when it comes to airlines. I mean 2 months ago if that Jetblue got in trouble for sitting on the tarmac for 8 hours thinking the storm would pass but it didnt & people complainted & wanted the bill of rights. Now they are quick to cancael & people complaint because they dont wait long enough. Why cant people just make up their minds & stay with them?

Maybe so but Jetblue or any other Airline has no controll over mother nature & if they waited or took off & crashed then their would be even more problems with it. I know people need or want to get to point A but still airlines buses trains cars & even walking are all dependant on the weather & the operators belief in skill & safety. We want to be safe rather then sorry unless it affects our plans but when it goes around then we;re even more upset & demanding someone's head & refunds. It's just beyond words especially given that most are above the age of 20.... Nature happens. Its the same thing with Iraq or other big stories these days we want to go in & take care of this or that now but if it doesnt work out perfectly or fast enough then we change our minds & never should have gone in or do this or that yet had we not gone in & Iraq gave a biological weapon to someone let alone a nuke & used it then people would be demanding heads for nothing having done something sooner. Disgusting.

This a hard question to answer. I think people are just impatient and don't like their plans disrupted. Most are going on a vacation or a business trip and they need to be there at a certain time. The airline comes along and cancels. Most travelers are not informed. Jet Blue cancelled flights so all their people would be in place when the weather cleared. They have rules regarding the pilot hours. They are not a big company like American Airlines. They don't have a lot pilots sitting in the wings ready to fly.
It's the nature of the people to complain anyway.

Some people are just impatient never taking the time to think that a single minute of waiting may even save their lives. I realize people take the airlines because it's the fastest way to their destination but never take the time to think that every thing doesn't revolve around them and people have no control over the weather but their always the ones to say, " If i would have just waited and been patient i wouldn't be in this mess." It all boils down to your exact words better safe than sorry.
