There is some point in which the human mind can not go beyond. Everything has a beginning, but from where everything come? It must be some origin of everything in which, that object must not have origin. Lest say, if God is the creation of someone else, or originated from for someone else, then that someone else is the Supreme origin, or God. In other words, we can go on and on, eternally back, trying to find the cause of everything. Therefore God is the last word.
He say in the Srimad Bhagavatam to the first created being as follow:
"Brahmä, it is I, the Personality of Godhead, who was existing before the creation, when there was nothing but Myself. Nor was there the material nature, the cause of this creation. That which you see now is also I, the Personality of Godhead, and after annihilation what remains will also be I, the Personality of Godhead."

God does not have a beginning because God does not originate from within this universe. Everything that does originate from within this universe does have a beginning and will also have an end.
Neither eternity, nor infinity literally exists anywhere inside THIS universe.
Everything inside this universe is made up of either time, space, matter or some combination of the three.
Time, space and matter all had a beginning and all began simultaneously. You will never go back in time with out rewinding space and matter as well.
With in this universe there is a limit to how big something can get, and how small something can get. There is also a limit to how fast something can go as well as a limit to how slow something can go. This should cause you to conclude that our universe is actually a subset of a much bigger reality, something that the bible has said all along.

I honestly see the highest God as the universe. Many religions tend to anthropomorphize the universe (i.e. God) so people can better relate to something so far beyond limited human comprehension. I try not to anthropomorphize and humanize the universe (the greatest God) because it just makes a mess of things, IMO. So I look at it this way. God is matter. The universe is matter. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form. Therefore matter, in some form or another, always exists. Therefore matter is God. I think my interpretation of it's kinda cool. But then some people think I'm a bit strange.

Moses asked a similar question of God, when Moses was on Mount Sinai in the desert over the wandering Hebrew's heads! He asked of God, "Whom shall I tell them(the Hebrew children) that you are?" He wanted to know in that question how God existed, who He was, and what He called Himself so he could go back to the wandering Jews with some kind of answer for them, as to just 'WHO' they worshiped!
God then told Moses, "I am that I am, tell them I am sent you." In this short statement, God Almighty is telling Moses that He has always existed, that He is His own 'first causes' and that He IS the first cause of ALL creation!!!
God exists from before time ever started and will exist forever.PTL! He exists so that the galaxies, stars, planets, moons, all life on earth and in the Heavens, and yes mankind too, can exist!!!
We who exist in only four unfolded dimensions, with the rest not seen or felt and folded inward, simply can not comprehend a God who exists in a realm of 'infinite dimensions' and out side of time!!!
This is why God could so simply appear to Abraham and Sara in the desert, and then Jacob and much later, be born of a virgin Mary, and yet still, at the same 'time' if I dare use that word, . . . in Heaven, running the Universe!!!

This is something the human mind will never be able to understand. The vastness of God and the fact that He has always been. As humans, we are centered around everything that is has to have a beginning. So where did God come from? This is something only God can answer.

What you need to understand is that God is infinite! We cannot understand because our minds are limited in the face of the bigness of God. We are finite, but God is infinite.
People were around for many years before 2000 years ago.
It was just over 2000 years ago that Jesus Christ, God's Son died on the cross, but the Old Testament of the Bible records many many years before this.

It doesn't make sense to us because we live inside time and God created time and everything else besides himself. He just always existed and was never born or created himself. Nothing else could exist without him because he is Life itself. It will all make sense to us after our spirits leave this world.

Good luck trying to find an answer to this one. Its a question for the ages. Nobody knows where God came from. The bible doesnt say. It would be like an ant trying to figure us out. It aint gonna happen. Gods wisdom and knowledge far exceeds us.

Even the greatest finite minds can not possibly comprehend the infinite.
Think of it like this...Suppose that God created time and space and He, God, who is infinite, exsists outside of our tiny little box of reality.
