If you are hourly, and you are not in the office, they don't have to pay you, doesn't matter if you are pregnant or not.
Your pregnancy should not be the company's problem as they are not the ones to benefit from the birth of your beautiful child.

Sorry, but I have never heard of them not being able to take it out of your wages b/c of pregnancy. But I do believe it is most states policies that if you work over 8 hours, you are supposed to get 1 hour lunch along with 2 breaks. Maybe you should check into that.

I don't think being pregnant has anything to do with time off, except if you are given maternity leave right before and after the baby is born. When I was pregnant I had to make my appointments and take personal time and I had a good job.

nicely it will be not straightforward commencing the recent job basically few weeks after giving delivery. you should sacrifice a touch. in case you want the job then you definately ought to shorten some time. in case you actually favor the job then you definately ought to start up the job in august. in case you do not truly favor the job then wait until eventually next year. I doubt in this monetary equipment that no individual needs a job. i'm in a similar position. i began a job at the same time as i replaced into 3 months pregnant and that i'm 7 a million/2 months pregnant now and performance no longer informed my manager yet I plan to inform her quickly. I do not ignore that she may no longer be too chuffed yet I also do not ignore that as a pregnant individual, i'm entitled to artwork and take of myself. Hoping for the finest after I tell her. I likely will be staying homestead for 4 weeks in the journey that they could even enable me considering that i do not qualify for the relatives leave of absence. If i replaced into on your position, i'd desire to have that infant in July basically and then start up college in overdue august. the sturdy issue is as a school instructor, you may sit down as you want and do not should be walkin up and down like me whose a nurse. I desire you the finest.

Is she giving you a half hour lunch in addition to your appointment time? You should schedule lunch during your appointment so you don't miss time. She is not expected to pay you for time that you are not there... pregnant or not.

I think that she acted within the law. You are allowed time off for appointments, but you do not have to be paid for that time.

unless you have vacation, sick hours or personal hours accrued. You are not required to be paid.
Even when you have the baby, they have to provide you with 30 days UNPAID leave, but no pay is required!
Sorry Hunny!

I would always use my personal time, broken down in 2 hour increments, for my doctors appointments.
Or, schedule them for my day off.
If you are missing work time, they do not have to pay you the time you miss.
