I have to agree that sounds kinda like D&D stuff. I've never heard of "summoning an element into a person's soul" and I've been studying and practicing magick from a wide variety of traditions for over 20 years now. Sorry.
I should say that this question makes little sense. Are you talking about Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit? Or Celtic Elementals, which are allegedly aggressive, negative spirits? You naturally already are composed of the five elements and you already have a preference toward one due to your natal chart. I'm not sure what you're asking because the only reason for summoning an element into yourself would be to elementally balance yourself out to alleviate a negative effect from an elemental imbalance.

A meditation would probably be the best place to start. Cast a circle, put representations of the elements around you, and call on them. For an indication of what you might want to draw, look at your birth chart, your personality, and your own preferences. For example, I knew from the time I was a child that I was a fire spirit. I’m a leo, and my patron Goddess is the goddess of the noonday sun. Remember though, calling one element to you so you can understand that element and take it’s attributes into you is fine, but do them all one at a time. Balance it out- it will help you grow.

The element LEAD usually enters your soul through a "spell" called GUN. It is not a picky element and will enter anyone that is wielding GUN. So go get a GUN, fill it with bullets, put it in your mouth, and squeeze the trigger. The element LEAD will enter your soul and remain until your death.
