Why so sudden? I think if he wanted to be friends he would have made that clear from the start. It sounds like he is trying to get to you. If he misses you he wouldn't have broken up with you in the first place. And as for hidden agenda I think you have probably more important things to worry about than him. Let him regret losing a beautiful thing. Still try to be civil and if he isn't then forget him!!!!!!

Yes and no. He made a serious error in judgment and wants you to forgive him. He figures that being friends is about all he can expect since he broke up with you and because you are wondering about a hidden agenda.
You know him better than most, and will have to trust your own judgment to see if he does or does not have a hidden agenda. I hope for your sake that he does not.

He is really a sadist with little regard for you or your feelings. If he does have a hidden agenda, don't wait to find out. No good can come out of this.

He could have a hidden agenda. But keep in mind, that he just might want to keep his connection with you.

I would like to know as well. I am going through something similiar, although waiting to see if he misses me or if I will ever hear from him.
I'm sure he does miss you and maybe has regret. I would be civil to him, but not pay too much attention to him and see what he really wants. Good Luck...and best wishes.

He might want you back or he might just want to have a good friendship with you after the break up. It's not really good to be almost enemies or someone who ignores their ex just because they have broken up. Talk to him and ask him if he means he wants to be with you again or is it that he just wants to be friends and nothing more. ~good luck~

Yes. He's looking for an easy booty call. Run, don't walk, in the other direction. You deserve someone better.
If he really wanted to be your friend, he would have at least tried to be civil.

Not to be harsh... but yes, I think it does. He wants to be friends and then more than friends-- does he have a girlfriend? If not, and you don't want to get back together, beware!!
