The second one.

The evidence is piled up in favour of evolution as we can now produce complete fossil evidence for the transition stages in some animals e.g. the move from sea to land. No maybe or perhaps about it.
To set Adam and Eve against evolution seems misdirected to me. Many Christians believe that they are part of a parable, a teaching story which was never meant to be taken literally. Some argue that God set evolution in motion, or that is part of a plan too complicated for humanity to understand.
I really cannot understand why people need to keep asking this one as there are plenty of good books and TV programmes on the subject.

Both! Adam and Eve were apes and the apple wasn't an apple at all. It had to be a banana. The Garden of Eden was in fact a banana plantation, the action took place high in the treetops and there was a long yellow serpent but he got mistaken for a banana and gobbled down before anything nasty could happen. Earth is Paradise and there are bananas aplenty for everyone! Who needs knowledge?

Interestingly saying creation is true brings about all sorts of feelings in people on here. I'm always puzzled at this because it's not a battle just a seeking of the truth. There are many scientists that are definite that evolution can't be true although they don't agree with creation. So why do people get angry? Is it rebellion against God? Is it because what they learnt at school or university is being challenged and they are fixed? Who knows. What's wrong with being open to another formula? Is it so hard to send the monkey up the flag pole to see if it bites? Could people be more open to intelligent design or is this beyond the ability to be open? These are all questions I ask my self.

God created evolution. The story of Adam and Eve is a non-literal representation of creation written thousands of years ago. Science and religion are not mutually exclusive - who created science?

Both. I'm sure there was a beginning of our species and somewhere in history, I'm willing to bet there was a guy named Adam and a girl named Eve :-)
But...take a look at humans. Even we have 'evolved' somewhat from our ancestors. Our skeletons are larger/denser than the earliest human versions we have.

Evolution is a proven scientific fact. Adam and Eve.....a made up story.

Once again...evolution is NOT A PROVEN FACT.

All those people who say "evolution" is proven are just a bunch of newspaper reading phonys.

Here are the facts.
Adam and Eve=religion
Evolution=has become a religion

The truth is that evolution makes alot of sense...it surely does...
But however...Everyone is running around believing everything some scientist says, the same scientist who can't even prove what he is saying.

Evolution "followers" have become there own religion. They are just too ignorant to admit it.

The fact is that no one knows, or will ever know and that is for a reason.

"Worshipping" everything a scientist says is not logic or reason, Its pure stupidity. It is searching for answers, without the ability to have faith.

Now I read someone write this today "Just because you can't see gravity, does not mean it does not exist, Just because you can't see air, does not mean it does not exist"

In 10 years, they are going to put temple's up, with Darwin hanging from a cross, praying to all mighty darwin to bring the Ape's on...

and by proving evolution, they are proving exactly what?
That we came from Ape's? But that truly will never happen.
Here's the deal, If We were Ape's, then when scientist tested us, it would have became a fact, but that just never happened.
and why? They actually did the tests, and couldn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
So here to all of you evolutionist
"IT JUST ISN'T SO, GET OVER IT"
in a few years scientist will have yet another theory for you to "worship"

They still have no answer to this "big bang" or anything, nor will they ever
because they can't figure out, why if there is NO ACTION, how it became a REACTION.
"the reverse to for every action there is a reaction"

The universe does not just "exist" that too me sounds like this "I don't know, but i'll say this in hopes you will be satisified"

we all are searching for where we started/came from, we all want to know what happens after death.

Believe in something, and if there is nothing then nothing with let you down,
If there is something, you will be grateful.

Evolution, scientific facts!
Adam and Eve, not a glimmer of proof or evidence what so ever,
I think that tells you what I believe

This depends on your faith of course. I personally believe in God as my Creator, therefore I believe in Adam and Eve. Evolution saddens me because it is taught as the truth, not only to adults but at school and there are as many big questions about evolution as there are about creation. But you have to do some research and find out yourself about it, looking at both sides.
