sounds to me like he just wants to know he can get some when he wants it. What I think is he wants to be able to go out for steak and have it at home too (otherwise known as have his cake and eat it too). Give him the cold shoulder when he tries to be all over you and he'll make up his mind if it's really over or if he wants to come back. Don't stress over not being with him either. Breaking up is hard to do and you will get over him and find someone else.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he is using you.
You have become a "convenience" to him, if you continue to make yourself available to him. He says he needs time for himself, to spend with friends or just to think. But when his so-called friends aren't available it is you he calls and wants to see. In doing this, he has no respect for you and eventually, you will find yourself alone wondering what you did wrong. My advice to you is to stop making yourself available to him. Change your phone number and don't call him. You deserve better and he doesn't deserve you.

He's testing the waters. He's looking for something better and when he cant find it he's come back to you.
When he does find something better he stop contacting you...

yes he does but if he's gonna play games like that with ur emotions i think you should leave him alone and get a man that not gonna play games and appreciate and stop actin like were all in high school cause if he loves u he wouldnt hurt u or play with u like that

he really don't know what he wants to do.if he's all over you like you say he is.thats a sign of that he still wants to be wit you and and he still want to be around you.
