I have a sister, but she only speaks spanish and we communicate through e-mail (she lives in a different country) and I'd like to tell her that my mom is getting married (since I was adopted we have different parents we live with). I'd also like to tell her that the man is named Dan and that he is very nice!
Any help with this would be wonderful!

my mom is getting married = mi mamá se va a casar
his name is Dan = su nombre es Dan
is a nice person = es buena persona
So,
my mom is getting married with Dan. He is a very nice person.
mi mamá se va a casar con David. Es una buena persona.
You can also add:
they are planning to get married on ....(date)
Tienen pensado casarse el (date=fecha).
